RETICULATED DASCYLLUS (DAMSEL FISH) - (Dascyllus reticulatus)

Description

Havannah Harbour, Vanuatu. Approx. 20 mtrs. depth. A common and attractive species of Damselfish that grows to about 8.5cm. Often found sheltering in branching corals and in this case associated with a matching coloured sponge. Quite shy and using a 1:1 macro lens is most effective to get the reach needed without scaring the fish.
